THE FAVOR OF SHARING IN ABUNDANCE

The afternoon of February the 27th of January,2022 saw the International Organization of Migration (UN Migration)visited our doors with donations of furniture's from 10 wooden chest drawers(Dresses),7 single slat beds with 7 foam mattress and 1 Kawasaki brush cutter. The IOM former desk officer representative (Mrs. Mele Tumalua) and her team brought in the above to add to the comfort of the homely environment to our boys. We are so blessed to know that though we are away from our own homes due to unforeseen circumstances that we encounter, the IOM with its international arms have bridged that homely atmosphere with their donations. We know that we are not forgotten because we have been the beacon of motivation to those who are urged to share their extras to us. We wish to extend our heart felt appreciation to the IOM and its Chief of Mission ( Mr. Solomon Kantha ) for their good deeds which we believe has actually boost the morale of the boys in another dimension. There was a proposed visit schedule by Mr. Solomon, the Chief of Mission of the IOM on the 5th of Feb which was cancelled due to the heavy rain condition in the Western division. The wet situation did not stop the Superintendent of the Home from trying to reach Mr. Solomon at the Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi just to thank him personally on all that the IOM has contributed to the Home and also to receive the First Aid kit that was part of the visit by the Chief of Mission IOM. The meeting was brief and the First Aid kit was handed over to the Home Superintendent before they headed to their different routes trying their very best to avoid being caught in the flood during that late afternoon. The Veilomani Boys Home is forever grateful to Mr Solomon Kantha and the IOM for their kind generosity that will be will be kept within us as we journey ahead. Once again a big Vinaka vakalevu to the Chief of Mission IOM, newly appointed desk officer Ms. Venina Niumataiwalu and may the organization continue to grow in its operations, guided by the hands of the Almighty who is always in favor of all good deeds we do on His behalf. The Home is always open to all who are willing to share from their well of abundance for a good course. Vinaka IOM.
