There is nothing more beautiful than enjoying life as it is in the comfort of the Home that we belong to. Creating something out of nothing is a motto that we uphold at the Veilomani Boys Home as we struggle to build a solid foundation of who we are from the support of our Carers, teachers, families and friends who are always there in times of our need. We count ourselves fortunate to be given the opportunity to attend school where we are challenged to do our best in the academic arena in order to build something positive for our future. The Carers or Key workers at the Home has a very important role in trying to nurture us from our very tender ages to where we are today. Our days are all spent well from spiritual nurturing at all angels to the basic daily chores ,school programs, recreation and other important aspects of our upbringing . Our Carers or Key workers with their willing hearts are always keen to go the extra mile by assisting us with completion of our homework ,accompanying us to participate in school sports competition in whatever games we represent and even teaching us the basic of cleanliness and orderliness in our home. We are so grateful to God Almighty for His provisions to the chosen ones who are His hands, face, legs and mouth in this home where they take the sole responsibility of nurturing us to be the best of who we can be. We salute our workers who are the representative of our parents in this home. Vinaka saka vakalevu Talatala and all your workers for making this home a beautiful comfortable place to be accommodated in. We also wish to thank the Social Welfare Department for their continuous support in attending to our case plans as they work hand in hand with our Care workers in trying to put together a road map that is achievable to us.
We acknowledge the support from the Community Policing in Tauvegavega Police Post who visited the Home as part of their community outreach during their routine patrol. May God continue to richly bless you and your families.
